Development Economics

I have learnt that development is not as simple as it looks. A development process involves many other stages such as the initiation, evaluation, acquisition and many more. All these stages play a different role and is crucial to determine the end result and a smooth process of a development.

Apart from that, I have also come to understand further about the main players in the development process. Previously, I only thought that there were a few and I was pleasantly surprised that there are actually more main players than expected. I believe that this knowledge will greatly help me in the future whether for work or for personal use. This also helps me to familiarize and visualize how development process takes place in the world today.

One of the difficulties that I have faced for this subject is that I find it very difficult to understand and to fully digest what had been taught. Besides that, the assignments was not as easy as it looks as it requires future research. However, this subject had been very enjoyable as I was able to learn more about Malaysia's development cases through my lecturer. I believe that the stories told would greatly help me once i enter the industry to work.
