Construction Law was one of the toughest subject this semester as it requires a lot of head knowledge in relation to law. I find it rather difficult to remember all the case studies. However, it is also through the case studies that i understand how the principals are incorporated into the real world.This subject gave me a deeper understanding on how the arbitration and litigation process works.
The assignment was rather confusing for me as it was hard to distinguish and give judgement on the rightful amount of claim. I still tried my best to input the principal that had been taught to give a proper judgement.
I have also managed to attend a seminar that was conducted by Juru Ukur Bahan Malaysia (JUBM) which was regarding the Construction Industry Payment and Adjudication Act 2012 and also highlighting the CIPAA Act. From this seminar, I realized that there are new acts that are emerging replacing the new ones. It indirectly shows me that how the industry is constantly changing.
