When looking back at all the chapters that I have studied, the thing that I could remember most would be "VM helps to remove any unnecessary cost". This subject had thought me many things in relation to Value Management. Things such as history and background of VM, how will VM benefit the industry, how does a Quantity Surveyor be able to apply VM and many more.

After learning this subject, I have come to realize that indeed this subject is beneficial in many areas especially in the construction industry. Not only does it help to focus more on the client's objective, it also able to increase a building's value. This would probably apply to me in the future whenever i need to give advice or have the chance to build my own building.

As for the assignment, we were given a task to form a group of 9-10 people to come out with a Case Study Report for project implementing Value Management in the Construction Industry .We decided to do a hostel as our case study and each of us were given a delegated task in order to come up with a proper and completed report.
